Charlestown Harbour ....

We met up for lunch today with an ex-work colleague of mrsfb's. She had moved down to Cornwall with her husband some years ago to be nearer their daughter. The weather was definitely changing, very windy though not noticeably rainy when we arrived. I had a quick walkabout to find something or someone to blip. I met and had a chat with a local guy walking his dog but that was about it. I was asked at lunch if I had got any good photos, to which I replied no, there weren't enough people about. Not everyone agreed with my view that photos are usually better with a few random people in them!

After a very nice lunch it was much, much stormier with heavy driving rain so we decided to call it a day and go back to our apartment.

Charlestown is best known these days as a location for the Poldark series, though I did recognise it recently in The Eagle Has Landed which was on TV again over Christmas.
