Bright and. beautiful!

Well the weather wasn't! We were back to wet and windy today. But it's January and Spring is just around the corner. This is a little coaster which was hand made by my neighbour and friend Heather. She is a very gifted (and modest) crafter and quilter. She spent her summer holidays as a teenager with an Aunt in Nova Scotia and was taught how to quilt and embroider. She was taught well and now displays in local exhibitions... Meanwhile, we had another clear out today and more boxes are ready to go to the local charity shop.
