Sunrise, Old Leigh, Essex

Up early again, and the weather looked good, so I was out quickly. I'm struggling to find interesting subjects for landscapes, especially at sunrise and sunset, as things have to be in the right location to fit in with the colourful background. Although the sky is nice enough on it's own, I like some more interest in a photo than just that, so need to do some more scouting!

The main pic is of some familiar breakwaters with Southend Pier on the horizon. 1st extra is just the mud and sky. The 3rd is of some birds, presumably sheltering in the lee of the bank until they set off for the day. There were loads of them! Unfortunately I couldn't stay long enough to wait for them to get going.
