Dancing Great Egret

I went to the pond today not expecting much. It had been lean all week, and then had gotten cold last night.

I got there around 10:30 and there were tons of birds everywhere! Mostly great and snowy egrets, with a few wood storks, some ibis, and several species of ducks.

All-in-all it was a good day. I stayed about an hour, then headed home as I was chilly.
