Watery Grave

This photo was taken from an upper floor of St Bridget's Kirk, Dalgety Bay.

The exact date that the church was built is unknown, but it was in existence by 1178. The church has been replaced by another building further inland, but the building itself is still in pretty good condition, and the graveyard above has gravestones dating back to 1730 and beyond.

One day, I would love to come here with some models and some mediaeval costumes. But today, I stopped here in the middle of a lunchtime jog in order to snap a photo while there was any daylight!
