Summer Layers

I drove to the Cardrona River to see if the Californian Poppies were still in flower.  Yes, they are still lovely.  that's Mt Iron in the background.

This afternoon I helped serve afternoon tea at a funeral.  I didn't know the lady. or any of her family.

Just need to walk a few more steps, then I'll settle in for the evening.  Hot +25C.
