The Water Wall

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend! Many thanks for yesterdays comments.

I went for a walk with the wife up and around Carron Valley Reservoir. Lovely bright day only to be spoiled by strong gusty winds. Part of the walk took us past the reservoir dam. The wind was blowing straight down the reservoir towards the dam. With nowhere to go once hitting the dam, the water came up over the relief openings at the top. This wall of water made a phenomenal and mesmerising site.

I'll try and post a link to some other pics from today. But now, I'm tired, my legs are sore and I'm hungry!
