Tomra

Tomra is a Scandinavian private, non-profit company that operates a deposit scheme for regular bottles and cans. All shops/sellers of drinks must accept back any bottle or can bearing an official deposit mark. Your local corner shop will take them back and count them by hand, the supermarkets have machines like this. You feed in your deposits and get a bar-code slip back. As you may have worked out, you can also donate direct to charity. At 13-40 pence per bottle/can you can quickly get a worthwhile amount back.

Big Ben Bongs - why not? it's a funeral after all. By the end of the year the UK will have spent/lost more than it has paid into the EU over 40 years. Staggering, really. So your fiver a week to the EU has become over £20 a week for Brexit. Which is really "value for money"?
