Miloš Karadaglic. the classical guitar player, played at the Stoller Hall this evening. His first concert in Manchester. Excellent.

It’s a great venue, one of my favourite “new” Manchester buildings, and integrated into Chethams School of Music. I love the use of warm brick and light woods. The acoustic is fantastic. It all makes for an intimate experience.

We had a wander in the interval. I like the geometrical lines and angles in this space. Behind and above us as we entered the space we could see youngsters practicing (flute and saxophone) behind the glass windows. Not a sound to be heard. Top class sound insulation.
