Arding and Hobbs

I was on my journey home today and had a 45 minute wait between trains at Clapham Junction. I decided to go for a wander around and managed to find my way to the edge of Clapham Common to spot the road where l shared a house with friends many years ago. So much has changed ie the number of shops and eating places but some of the old buildings are still recognisable such as the old Arding and Hobbs departmental store. I was impressed by it's shape, today's wide Wednesday theme.

It was an easy journey home and just enough time for tea then camera club.
