Not fit for duty

Normous had a check up at hospital this afternoon after his procedure in December. I planned to go with him, but with a streaming cold and horrible cough, we decided I wouldn’t be welcome to spread my germs in a hospital. So N has gone on his own, and I shall feel better when he gets home and I know how he got on. I have hated letting him go on his own, but what could I do? I am also missing my monthly WI meeting tonight. Son J says I must feel bad if I am missing WI!
This pretty little glass dish was a Christmas present. The pansies are painted on the glass but are completely contained in glass. I wonder how they did that.
