River Reflections

Back to the routine.  I got BB out to school then went out for a short run.  It wasn’t quite daylight when I set out, so I didn’t see the ice!  I didn’t fall.  It was quite a nice run, but slow, and I was rewarded with views of the sun rising over her Lammermuirs which had snow on the tops.  I then had to get ready quickly and head to our local out of town shopping centre to meet a friend.  I don’t know when I was last there, so long ago that there are new shops.  My friend was amazed that I hadn’t been in recent times.  I do my best to avoid it.  Anyhow she had a few things to do.  I picked up a couple of things in the sales and after a lovely scone in M&S, we parted and went our own ways.

Once home I realised I needed some stuff for tea, so had to head out to the supermarket.  I walked, so I only bought what I needed.

When I got home, BB was back from the gym.  He almost didn’t go, but he did and he enjoyed it and did some arm work to try and strengthen his poorly arm.  I cooked and did some chores and then walked down to Scouts with BB.

Later TT and I watched some TV, but were both falling asleep.  The first week back at work has worn us out.

A view from Victoria Bridge.
