Light on the long walk

Today I supported a train driver on a special walk from Waverley to Prestonpans. It was 12 miles and despite the cold we made good progress along the Innocent Railway and then The John Muir Way.

I was home by bus in good time to join our 5 yr old grandson’s birthday fun by FaceTime. T serenaded him with the birthday tune on her violin before heading out to choir practice. I am off to a Residents’ meeting to review traffic flow issues.
