In the Conservatory

There isn't much room in the house for the various things his woman folk enjoy doing in their free time (when they are not out visiting or doing those other little things Victorian women do), so the Master fitted out the conservatory with some heating, installed the grand piano (against the advice of his supplier I might add!), some lighting, chairs and other creature comforts for them.  Truth be told, its not used much at this time of year apart from by the cats!


One of my hobbies is Doll's House Modelling, and this is my 1/12th scale conservatory, built from a kit many years ago. The piano, also kit-built, represents another hobby of mine; I enjoy classical music and belong to a choir. I may even play my [full size] piano on occasion.  The final item on show is a miniature tapestry, yet another kit for building the frame and sewing the tapestry (I needed a magnifying glass for that!)
