Red Kite

The first time I saw a Red Kite was in 1993, near Beauly, Inverness. Since then their numbers  have increased significantly and I took this one today, again just outside Beauly, with the Sun low so it illuminated the underside.
I love the way they fly, so supple and acrobatic, their tails always make me think of Rowan Atkinson's eyebrows.
