At the end of the day...

Hot chocolate with marshmallows helped to wind up the day well, particularly for son D. I didn’t have my finest parenting hours today, and he didn’t display his finest teen moments, but you can’t argue with cocoa and a hug.

I’m trying to dodge a cold, especially with a (solo!) flight across the country coming up this weekend.
