End of the day

We've had a most wonderful visit with our family...very relaxing in the morning, then shopping and dinner out before we enjoyed the sunset on Venice Beach.
It was the perfect ending to our time with them.  Tomorrow we are heading off to visit our dear friends, Tim and Lisa, and begin another chapter of our adventure!

Extras are the sunset watchers, and a pretty little shorebird.
