Rain on the window

Touch wood, we seem have escaped the full force of storm Brendan - it's been windy enough, but not nearly as bad as a couple of days ago. Dark and damp all day though, and by 4.15pm it was pitch black and the rain torrential. But it was cosy in the kitchen, and the miniature daffs on the window sill cheerful against the backdrop of raindrops reflecting on the window pane.
