In the wild

I was working in Tyndrum today when the storm hit.  At first I thought it wasn't bad until I tried to drive home.

A call from a colleague who was stranded in the weather outside my house but that was no good as I wasn't there and as the road was closed in 3 places it was not easy getting there.  The school bus took KK's money and only took him half way home before telling the village boys they needed to walk the last mile through the storm. As usual he did not even have a coat but he managed not to get blown away.

In the meantime at home the greenhouse blew down and so did the 20yr old pergola with my lovely roses. All home now and ready for another January day on the roads tomorrow, the joys!
