So, turns out that I mistook bruised ribs for a stitch on yesterday's ride, *that's* why it was a bit sore all the home from Bathgate. Thought I'd test them out on a ride this morning before the rain and high winds came later. They held up alright, the legs were fine, I didn't push it too hard, got the job done as it were.

Flicks tonight - Seberg. Hoping for a 'hidden gem' or a 'flawed masterpiece'. Maybe hoping for a bit too much. We'll see.

[Film update - a verdict! Reasonably solid if somewhat unremarkable.]
