Road trip

Woke up in gorgeous little Torphins and whistle-stop trip to Banchory to see N's friends a funny story lies within. This was the brother of N's ex, his family lovely family who I also knew pre N as I had helped his wife with her laser surgery in 2016. How mad that we returned to see them as a couple, the world is nothing if not small.
Blue skies took us all our winding way through Glen Shee down to the most amazing Monaycle Mhor. Part of N's Christmas pressie (God bless itison) an absolutely incredible hidden gem. Quiet at this time of year so we got an upgrade to a courtyard suite and treated like Kings. The food, oh my the food. Seven courses and every one as good as the last. Flawless, faultless we vowed to make it an annual trip.
