River washing

When I get up first thing in the morning, there are always people washing themselves and their clothes in the river opposite. Most of the men who go there just take off their tops and rinse them out but this gentleman goes the whole hog with his washing routine. After breakfast we took the bicycles out on a little ride and visited another temple where three brothers who maintain this place of worship sat us down and gave us explanations of the Hindu deity worshipped there. The food continues to be excellent but with so much coconut and sugar and so many dishes presented at each meal I shall have to go on a diet on my return!
