Camouflaged

It’s quite difficult to see the little wallaby in this image as it was late afternoon and he was in shade.  I have a good feeling that this could by little Blippy as he’s not quite fully grown.  Well it makes me happy to think it is our little mascot.  I had a very welcome visit from Tracy from WIRES today.  They’re a wonderful organisation who look after injured wildlife.  I had an occasion to call them once a long time ago when my little Jack Russell had bailed up a dear little Echidna.  They managed to sort the issue out for me.

Tracy is going to supply me with pellets suitable for the wallabies and sweet potatoes, carrots, apples and rolled oats.  The idea is that I will be able to cater for a variety of animals that will no doubt be calling by while there is such a shortage of food for them.  It’s great that I have their support and we need to sustain this effort for a long time to come I believe.
