Supreme

Thanks to modern technology I was able to view the new President of the Supreme Court taking the oath.

Robert and I were at school together and we have remained friends over the years. Since his move to London in 2012 our meetings have been less frequent but it was good to catch up with him and Jane last summer at friends‘ ruby wedding celebrations.

Now The Rt Hon Lord Reed of Allemuir - and life peer in his own right - he has remained the same charming bright funny person he has always been. The BBC Scotland news website article sums him up very well.

So a special day and one I was pleased to observe from a distance.
