Bowens are Back.....

Beautiful Bowens are back. 
In 1923 they started as a Camera Repair Service. In 1963 the name Bowens was registered.
In July 2017 they were bought out and closed by a German company AURELIUS. Its a complicated thing to get to the bottom of but Bowens are back through WEX and they are the only place you can get them now. 
I love my Bowens 400RXs which I bought just before they were closed down. I've been looking for faster lights but I want good quality and was delighted to find Bowens are back. So I did a little homework and bought them before Christmas. 
However with work commitments and family commitments and having the Flu from Christmas eve I never had time to even take them out of the box to test them. 
This Sunday I finally had a few spare moments of feeling much better to go out in the studio and test them. 
I like them but boy are they noisy. As I switched them on I can hear fans running and they are not quiet at all. Need to find out if that is normal but it didn't sound like anything was wrong just a loud fan noise.
If anyone else has these lights Id be interested to know if they find them noisy too.
