Mallows Bay

This is one of the "ghosts" belonging to the Ghost Fleet of Mallows Bay, the largest ship graveyard in the Western Hemisphere. It is situated off of the Potomac River and is here in Charles County.  In addition to the sunken boats, there are bald eagles, heron, osprey, and a large variety of fish. It was recently designated a National Marine Sanctuary: Mallows Bay
In the extras is a giant beech tree off of one of the trails in the park. If you look at the bottom of the tree you can see my husband standing next to it.
