WALKING

We went for a very windy quick stroll before breakfast!!
The hotel was very busy today so the service was a bit slow but we were happy to sit, chat and graze through the cold option until our cooked breakfast came. Then it was time to pack and check out. I thought our B&B rate was going value at £103 per night with a sea view.
As the sun had come out The Rev and I decided to walk along towards Sandgate. Sue really wanted to join us but J wanted to get home!!! We like to make the most of a weekend away.
They dropped us 1 mile along then we kept on walking # to the end of this photo and then walked back to our hotel # at the end of the next photo ...stopping halfway # for a cuppa by the sea.
We had a smooth journey home just stopping briefly to pop in to see J.
This evening we went up to church to the informal service. It was nice to have some time for reflection after such a lovely weekend. I think The Rev enjoyed yet another 60th birthday treat.
