Winter heliotrope

I went for a quick drive out this afternoon, and I was enchanted by this whole bed of Winter heliotrope  flowering for all it was worth right beside the road - such a welcome addition to the bare mud-stained verges.
I have added a shot of the road as it meandered through the countryside, lit by the afternoon sun, and a beautiful rainbow over a field, over a gate in my extras.
