Off the Shelf Courage.....

I spent the day with Sue at A+E as she was in such agony over the weekend with her back and hip and couldn't get out of bed until painkillers worked.
The doctor was brilliant and so thorough and all the staff were wonderful. Long live our NHS. She has a bad case of bursitis in her hip and the Xray showed severe arthritis in her back.
She was seen by Occupational therapy and they gave her 2 zimmer frames one for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. Someone is also coming out tomorrow to assess the house to see if it is safe for her - which it obviously is not!
If it doesn't improve they want to admit her to a respite hospital where she would be able to rest, get physio and hopefully get her moving again.
