Peek-a-Boo

Stayed in most of the day, other than an early morning dash to the supermarket.  L was off riding and I was finalising the framing for the exhibition.

Spent a little time watching the antics of the birds on the feeder.  I suppose you can always read things into certain actions, but it did seem as though the goldfinch and greenfinch were trying to hide from each other.  You'll probably have noted that the greenfinch has some feather damage, but it didn't seem to stop it from flying when the local squirrel muscled in on the feeder.

A last minute arrangements saw my Sister in law and husband come over in the evening for a meal.  A great time was had and it was lovely to be able to return some of the hospitality we received on Christmas Day.
