Every home should have one.
I saw this garlic crusher in the shops yesterday. It was quite expensive but is simple and efficient. Sometimes the simplest things work best.
This morning we drove to the north shore of Sydney to have breakfast with our daughter and her husband, kids and dog Champ. We brought Olivia (10) and Zach (8) home with us for a few days. Then our other daughter came with her children and the cousins are having a great time together. Nina’s two are the same ages bar a few weeks. They have been a bit boisterous as they are so excited. Well behaved but they have every toy out and it will take me weeks to sort things out when they go.
I’m pooped as I drove most of the way home from Sydney today. We drove for about an hour through the burnt forests in the Blue Mountains. Sad to see. I am amazed to see a lot of houses saved due to the remarkable efforts of the volunteer fire brigades.
When we got home we had shopping. Watering. Cooking. Feeding son’s cats and watering his garden and putting out the garbage, sorting beds and showers for four kids. I don’t know how we coped with 4 kids ourselves. No wonder I was always tired in those days.
Tonight I’m so full after our trip away I decided to skip dinner. I’m having a green tea with mint instead.
