Silence of the Bells

I've walked passed our village church a thousand times and it only occurred to me today that in the 16 yrs I have lived in Stamford Bridge I have never heard the 'bells' ring!!

I remember as a child, staying with my grandparents, waking up on a Sunday morning to the lovely sounds of the church bells calling. Sundays were always a special day visiting family, friends and having fun. :)

If only we could turn back the clock to those special days, where Sundays were the day of rest and time to enjoy with the family, no working , no shopping, just days of making special memories.....

Bring back the 'Bells' :)
