Kinneil House

What a beautiful cold, crisp morning! On way home from Linlithgow decided to drive to Kinneil Estate, the house is 16thc, not lived in these days, front facade & one of the wings only left standing, open to the public on certain days throughout out the year, reputedly to have a ghost the White Lady ..lady Alice one of the Hamiltons who owned the house & estate!

The grounds are open, the remains of a Roman fortlet is visible from the days of the Antonine Wall, Bo'ness is at the western end of the wall!
