It is well with their soul

We had a thanksgiving service today for a little baby girl. The grieving parents chose this song ”It is well with my soul” and sang it boldly and confidently. Standing to one side, manning the doors, I could see their faces as they sang. Their confidence uplifted my soul and made me cry. How awesome is the God we adore, that through such sadness, God is known, trusted and depended on.
