This is the cause of our lack of electricity over New Year! Water has been running down a joist in the garage and into the plugs. Dad and I have bought a new waterproof outdoor socket and are going to rewire. We will need to go up on the garage roof and investigate where the water is coming from, but perhaps not when it is quite as windy :-)
