Chaos

The electrician came and went having installed 2 single ovens. I just need to figure out how to work them. The kitchen is a tip as you can see. We're also getting a new boiler fitted next week.

Poor Tom received a phone call from the hospital to say his mum was on her way home today not tomorrow. He was livid to say the least. To cut a long story short the ward had not  communicated with us even though Jean had had family visiting every day since she'd been admitted. The hospital had advised the carers of Jeans discharge but not family. She spent 6 hours in the discharge lounge, waiting for medication that hadn't been written up before arriving home at 4pm with blue legs and having not been to the loo (enough said).

Anyway she's home. It was good to get her tucked up this evening. Tom is staying over just to see if she's ok. 

To add insult to injury, Neil Peart drummer from Rush, died today. Poor Tom, he was lucky enough to have seen them live twice.
