Snow Day

I made it into work this morning but was sent home at 11 am, along with my other non-Haslemere residing colleagues. The Met Office got the forecast right, as demonstrated by Basil in this picture. We have about five inches of snow so far and it's still falling heavily as I type. There's also a nasty wind creating blizzard-like conditions at times so, all in all, it's better to be indoors. I did have a nice walk round the lanes after lunch though and paid a visit to the gypsy horses who were having a lovely time playing in the snow.
