Parking, But Not As We Know It.

Or, just average sights in the Charente Maritime.
Went to La Rochelle to see us beat Sale 30-23 in the Champion’s Cup. The stadium is in the middle of a residential area, with no dedicated car park. The fans don’t so much park cars, as abandon them. The small white on is on the little island you can see at the side of a pedestrian crossing. Further back you can see every square inch on the level part of the roundabout is full of cars. Off to the left (not visible) was another car parked on the pedestrian access point to the crossing. Tickets are rarely issued. Earlier in the day, I stopped to check the view near the shops. I first saw what I thought were only cart-horses, but they were accompanied by a Llama, then I realised that an African big-horned Bull was tethered as well, next to two bactrian and dromedary camels. Odd, until I realised that the series of red lorries (lions in cages out of sight) were from a parked up Circus en route to the next show.
