Snow!

Well, boy did it snow!!

We woke to a light covering, and it has just got heavier and heavier as the day has passed! Needless to say, the hotly awaited text from school saying it was closed arrived and the excitement has only just abated (it is now 2;45!!) It is a good 4-8 inches deep and in places where it has drifted, much deeper still!

We (Debs) has:

- made cakes with them,
- built a snowman (I did!)
- been sledging!

I am so glad I had the foresight to get the sledges in the summer when I saw them in The Range. I think I only paid £6.99 for them as opposed to the £15 or so that I bet they are on sale for toady (smug smile on my face!!

Now to watch Nanny McPhee whilst we warm up with a nice cuppa and slice of cake!!!
