Day 009/20 Reconnecting

I finished the knitting some months ago but it was only this evening that I got together the enthusiasm to sew the two pieces together. After a little while, reviewing the seam, I've put it aside until I can do it in the daylight...

What I am trying to do here is Kitcheners stitch, which is a way of sewing two pieces of knitting together in such a way that it looks as though it is one continuous piece of knitting.. YouTube is my friend - again
