No Self Control

All I can say in mitigation, My Lord, is that these chocolates lasted unopened since beforeChristmas, but, yesterday the temptation was too great and I had the uncontrollable urge to taste them. Yes MyLord , the culprit leaving the empty spaces in the box is I.
So much for my New Year resolution not to eat between meals and certainly not chocolate. But my goodness they were so lovely, soft centres and no hard caramel to destroy fillings in teeth. Of course they were no ordinary choccies, they were M&S choccies and I chose them to give away at Christmas or New Year, but changed my mind to keep them for myself.
