Shadows

and reflections

This is an attempt at "fusion art" - using a photograph in a painterly fashion.
I took (an original photograph ) from the Marina in Capetown Harbour, cropped it and then printed out the cropped version onto scraper board.

I then used scraper tools to add in the tones in the shadows and the highlights elsewhere (view *large). I think it works as an abstract image.

But is it "Art", darlings???
