Driving on Kodiak Island today, found some unusual road mates. The herd started on one side of the road, trotted over to the other side, then came back again. They did this for quite a while, until I decided I'd had enough of the wishy-washy buffaloes. I slowly crept through the herd and got very close to some horns and very shaggy, hard heads. Thank goodness it was a rental car!
