Rocket

This tortoise is living up to his name! He moves around the enclosure like a rocket, especially if food is involved. I borrowed Miss T’s phone to take this shot as we were feeding them together. They have a voracious appetite and at this time of year the particular likes are not found in huge supplies. We scour the garden for dandelion leaves, clover and couch grass every day. The tortoises have more than doubled in size since they arrived with us in August when they were just 12 months old.
