Don't lose your head

Our first Michelin star of the year with lunch at the excellent Adams Restaurant in Birmingham.  We had arranged to meet friends who live on the outskirts of Birmingham and who had eaten here a few times before and we were not disappointed.  We went for the tasting menu with accompanying wine flight although being lunchtime, we just had two 'flights' between the four of us which was ample.  We still managed to take four hours over the meal which seemed to pass in no time with all the chat going on.

Train home and caught the last bus home (being out in the sticks the 'last bus' leaves town at 6.30pm and doesn't run at all at weekends!).  On the way I noticed this chap on the station at Birmingham who was so engrossed in his phone his head seemed to have disappeared; sadly, he lifted it slightly just as I took the shot so he doesn't look totally decapitated.
