""THE CULPRIT"

Mr, Malinowski is an early riser - he turned up half an hour before the agreed time. - luckily, I know him from before & was dressed & had all my teeth in place.


He came armed with a brand new version of this space-age assembly of complicated plastic. Within minutes he had replaced "the culprit" & asked me to open the stop cock... The cistern filled & promptly overflowed!


"The Culprit" was pronounced  "not guilty!!


Plan B involved rather a lot of Polish rhetoric & after half an hour he asked me to open the stop cock again...


Bingo!


Needless to say I needed to go & havng flushed successfully -  the cistern failed to fill....... Lightbulb! I'd seen Mr. M. screwing a blue knob & I managed to open it up again & unscrewed it.


All's well again :o)
