A bit of a Heath Robinson?

Heath Robinson, an English cartoonist and illustrator best known for creating overly complicated, eccentric machines... I do believe we could be related!

It has taken me the best part of an hour and a quarter to come up with this solution, at the expense of little dog's walk! Jordanian and Japanese electrics don't seem to be terribly compatible but where there's a will there's a way ;)

It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer.
