Lanes, Lanes.......Lanes

So what else do you do in Melbourne other than explore the Lanes around the city, many of then are chocked full of boutique shops and cafes/bars/restaurants.......many of them are covered in graffiti and reek of piss......guess which one I picked to blip!

Anyways we started the day in one of the nicer Lanes and had great coffee and bagels for breakfast.

We then jumped on a tram and headed to Fitzroy and had a wander up and down Brunswick Street, picking up some great second hand CDs ( Tangerine Dream and a few classic movie soundtracks!) A spot of lunch ( gourmet Hot dogs ) and then we walked that off by walking back into the city.....fortunately it was a lot cooler today ( thankfully missing the record breaking temps back home 46.5c!!!! Thank feck!)

We had a beautiful refreshing Granita served by a very grumpy Italian man on the way back to our hotel.......having a bit of a break from the city before heading out for dinner and the having drinks with our neighbours from home who are in Melbourne for the tennis and an old friend of Andreas.......

Home tomorrow and that's the end of our holiday..... Boo hoo!
