feeding time

The Pheasant returned this morning for his breakfast. He now comes every morning, landing on the wall and looking at the kitchen window waiting for me to open the door and putting his food on the wall.  He has to be quick as the collared doves are also waiting.
Later having a walk around the back lane as we approached a field with some hens they came running up to the fence as if they were waiting also to be fed.  Alas I had nothing to give them.
