WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Salt and Pepper (No 2)

I was browsing on Facebook marketplace the other day and this caught my eye. I mentioned it to Frank and he said he'd seen it and liked it too. The lady only wanted 3 quid for it so I messaged her and we arranged to meet up in Settle where we had to go to the GP surgery anyway.
We are always on the look out for space saving items for on the boat. This is perfect as now, we won't have to have two crewet pots on the worktop. Every bit of extra space is welcome.

We also went to Lord's Salvage and Antiques in Ingleton for a mooch about.
All I got there was a long narrow wooden box (not old) to keep my sewing stuff in on the boat.
I would have bought a framed poster of the Liverpool Overhead Railway - now long gone But...
1. I dont have £32 spare until pension day!
2. Frank wasn't keen on it.

I loved it because my Great Grandfather worked at the Liverpool Overhead Railway at the docks. He was a booking clerk there. Most of the family were employed by the railways in one way or another and on my Grandmothers side on the docks

Here is a YouTube video about the overhead railway:
